Deborah is a Registered Dietitian and has worked in health care regulation with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) since 2008; first as a Professional Practice Advisor and Policy Analyst, and since January 2019, as the Director of Registration. Prior to CDO, Deborah worked in a variety of dietetic practice areas including clinical/nutrition care, research, and the publication sector. Deborah obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and completed her Post-graduate dietetic internship in Edmonton, Alberta. Deborah also holds a Master of Health Science from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. When not working, Deborah enjoys gardening, running, cycling, watching films, decadent baking projects, and trying to keep up with her two daughters aged 7 and 9!
