Mélanie Journoud is a Dietitian and the Deputy Registrar at the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, with over ten years’ experience in health regulation. Mélanie graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition. Mélanie works collaboratively to support the Registrar and staff in meeting the College’s regulatory functions and the Board’s strategic goals. She leads the work of the Quality Assurance and Inquiry Committees, oversees practice advisory and quality assurance initiatives, and also inspects complaints. Being a solution-oriented thinker, Mélanie thrives on challenging discussions and thinking outside of the box. Mélanie enjoys cooking for her family and you may also find her hiking or biking in the great outdoors.
